I'd go with the Lindo only because you'll have access to both the Lindo and Del Mar as well as a day pass to the Tucan/Quetzal - Best of all Iberostars!! There is alot less walking at the Lindo, air conditioned restaurants, and all meals are sit down/menu type. The kids can eat the buffet at Del Mar if your comfortable letting go over there, as the menus at the Lindo rest. are not really kid appealing - though the food is awesome.
