André Rieu at Radio City Hall, NY

I just saw a docu about his concert at Radio City Hall in NY and that was rather interesting. Funny that they had parked a limo in front of the building and the orchestra was entering on one side (outside the camera angle) and getting out of the limo on the other side (being filmed). But other interesting info as well.... never knew his youngest son is travelling with him. I have seen him live several times, seen him on TV a lot as well and have most of his CD's. His orchestra always seems to be good-humoured and funny and in this docu they appeared like a big family whose members care about each other. That's exactly what the members said...

Love the orchestra and the docu was interesting too....

I saw his New York concert on PBS. It was wonderful. I especially liked the combination of his singers and the Harlem Gospel Choir. I am getting the cd soon!

In the docu they did show a meeting with André and the managers of the Harlem Gospel Singers as well (that was where his son did how up). It was really interesting. They showed André at a rehearsal with the Harlem Gospel Singers as well (they were counting the time everybody needed for the things they had in mind for the concert).

I took my mother and sister to see his concert in the San Francisco area earlier this month, and it was great! Lots of encores, and an overall great show, I'm really glad we went.

I'd love to see him in Europe some time as well, hopefully in Maastricht where's he's from.

On January 1st they are always here in Cologne for two concerts (lots of poeple coming over from Maastricht then as well). We went there a couple of years ago but prices have gone up way too much....
