The desserts are all made, only a few presents to wrap, then it's on to the fun portion of the program. Eating until we are stuffed full, and bonding with my family over a Texas hold-em tournament or a dice game. Nothing says Christmas like taking your brothers for a few big pots.

Happy x-mas eve to everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day.
I will be wrapping Mike's gifts shortly ![]() MikeW's boss always holds a margarita party at noon on x-mas eve. Since it is now in the 70's I can wear my little black dress, instead of a red long-sleeved pantsuit ![]() At 4:30 we will head out to my Mom's house to see Mom, Dad, Dad's wife, daughter, sis, 3 kiddos, BIL, some friends from Germany for dinner and games. I am bringing a pumpkin/gingerbread roll cake, Yule Brod (Swedish Christmas bread), pumpkin cake and green bean casserole. Usually Santa shows up to give the kiddos something before going on to deliver presents to all the other children in the world.

Merry Christmas Eve!!
At work right now and not working. There are only 4 of us in the office. Sipping bailey's and coffee. Going to head to my parent's in a couple of hours. Nan does steak and lobster every Christmas Eve. We'll light a fire in the fireplace and play some sort of board game (usually Cranium or Scene it). Then, it's off to bed to wait for Santa to come!! Sadly, our extended family Christmas party in Chicago has been cancelled. So tomorrow will more of the same at my parent's house but with shiny new pressies to look at and play with. ![]() I hope everyone has peace and happiness this Christmas holiday. |

Merry Christmas Eve!!
(So if you're named "Eve" does it get confusing when people say, "It's Christmas Eve." Do you say, "No, that's not until tomorrow.") Making the pot of beans for the refried beans for tomorrow's non-traditional enchilada dinner. Doing the last of the laundry. Making some cookies for Santa and other hungry elves. Then it's off to church and out to dinner. ![]()
