The Past...we burn all the books, inprison all the intellects and brainwash our kids into believing it never happened! Then we publish alternate history books. After a generation or two, everyone will believe it!

Then, I will rise to power and make my self a "laser" and destroy the national debt with it! Bwahhhhhhahahahahahahahhahh!

I'd prefer to call it "management". Those would be the little day to day things. All of the big stuff.........would be in the past......learn from it or enjoy it..........whichever it may be.

We can manipulate the past and plan for the future. As for controlling today...not sure we can do that very well either.
If by control you mean being aware enough to bend and sway with comes at us minute to minute and move through the day with our personal morals and ethics still in tact...then I choose the today option.

Some days I'm better at it than others.
