The only things that I came home with that I didn't leave Wisconsin with are lots and lots of sand in my luggage and bits and pieces of a Halloween Costume that wasn't mine!

I've told you before that for me disclose the location of your missing chicks would cost you. I don't believe you've properly paid up.

Roaches... I do not miss them at ALL. It doesn't matter what you do, in a tropical climate there's just no way to totally avoid them. I'm with Susie, just grab a shoe, don't think about it, and whack it. A fast wrist flick is the best. Not too hard, or you'll have roach gut all over your floor. In Sweden roaches are not a big problem, in fact I've never seen one here, but sometimes when something catches my eye, may it be a spot on the floor or whatever, my roach instinct makes my tummy do a little flip and I'm ready for a battle. And then I relax. Nice.

Calling me such impolite names will not make me bend.

No worries. I hear they are being well cared for.

Actually I heard they had been fattened up and quite possibly roasted for Christmas lunch....

See- that is what I love about our nothern regions: no roaches. Or if, then small tiny ones. No HUGE insects of any kind. Lovely.
Thanks for the mental image of roachguts..... yuk.

Ha Ha. Not.
Glad I could provide some laughs though.
And yes- happy ending. No more roaches. Me= iceblock after unpacking for half an hour with window and door open.

Naming it...... see, that may have helped. There is a certain someone who owes me money right now, maybe I should have given it that name- and the whacking would have come all natural!!

I think if you've gone that route, you would have removed each leg...bit by bit...

And given it a long rant before I even started with pulling off legs and whacking it...... hm- do roaches have ears? If so I would have probably seen it raise it's front legs to cover them before I would have been done.

Hm. Sounds very therapeutic- roachieeeeee, come bahaaaaack!!

Too bad that I'm too far, I would love to go through your luggage to help you,

Get a roach trap as soon as possible. If you don't kill it, it may multiply.

If you drink coffee this may help, and you can actually see the results.

Kelli, you are so full of CRAP its not even FUNNY!!!

Unless of course you meant the "I" (as in "I trapped it," "I killed it," and "I sent it to its watery grave) in the collective, as in ME, your HUSBAND!!!

Joana - long story short - Kelli had a similar problem with a cockaroach around 9 years ago... Her solution? MARRY ME!!!

Careful now! This is going to turn into one of those political threads. Your torture tactics will draw the attention of The People for the Ethical Treatment of the Mexican Cockroach.
