Question Shoveling during a snowstorm???

PORQUE???
It is snowing heavily in Milwaukee right now and it is expected to continue for the next several hours. Why are my neighbors out shoveling their sidewalks. I might understand a driveway if someone in the house is due at any minute, but the sidewalk??
It is supposed to be reasonably nice tomorrow (25F, -5C). Do it once!
And no gloating from you Playa peeps. If the weather up here were nice Playa would still be "a small fishing village".

maybe it's easier to shovel 3 inches twice than 6 inches once

I shovel during the snow just because I find it easier to deal with before the snow piles up and gets really heavy. I guess it's snowing pretty hard here too, I'm at work and haven't looked out the window for a while.

We were let out of work early today due to worsening road conditions....yeah! Roads were okay until I crossed over into my county and the plows have not been out yet...

But there go my Friday Night plans (again!!!).

I love this snow though. The wet kind. Great to make snowman and have snowball fights!!

Oh...and we pay someone to shovel and plow here.

My neighbors think I am a Psychopath. (No, not because I'm a soccer fan.)

I used to live in southern California and I love shoveling snow. It's still a novelty to me.

It's good exercise. The more snow I shovel, the more beer I can drink.

I have lived in Colorado - just north of Gunnison & worked at CBMR ski area. So, I have shoved SNOW. I wish to impart the two greatest words I have come to know about removing snow from one location and moving to another - SNOW BLOWER.
If you don't have one, get one! If you have one, show your kids how to use it. From there stay inside and watch them clear your drive & sidewalk!!!
