"Burn" the source, yes? You'll have to agree it isn't the most impartial that could be found. Having said that, as a fellow spooner I can see the joy in starting from a biased source and getting hours of fun out of thrashing ideas about or ribbing like-minded chaps mercilessly.

Ask James what he meant. Tell him to make it his next post.

But I still don't think you should take it as a personal attack: it's not as if you're knocking down religious fundamentalists or extreme rightwingers as some obnoxious ne'er-do-wells on this forum do so often and in such bad taste

I have stated a couple of times now my reasons for posting this and it wasnt to be a "hard core spooner", I'll leave that to you and Daddy B.
Heres an example of what I THOUGHT I might get as a response:

5. Rudy Giuliani: Apparently they wrote this piece before the "hiding expenses" story largely evaporated. And the Kerik thing is simply "guilt by association," and unlike Hillary Clinton and Norman Hsu, Kerik's legal and ethical troubles came to light AFTER he and Giuliani had parted company. I'm fairly certain that there has to be some good dirt on a guy who's been twice divorced AND twice elected mayor of New York City, but this is pretty small potatoes. I suspect Giuliani's ranking is based more on his own notoriety than that of his offenses.
8. Barack Obama. Like Giuliani, the charges are relatively minor, and I suspect his inclusion is also based more on his personal prominence than the weight of the allegations. The alleged financial improprieties seem more along the lines of Hillary Clinton's cattle futures adventures than a sign of wholesale corruption.

I guess it was flat out crazy of me to expect some of you to actually discusss some of these in a rational manner. Pardon.
