Boxi, when I went to PdC I was always flying with Lufthansa from Frankfurt to Mexico City (last time we made a 3 days stopover there which was well worth it). For me that was convenient since Lufthansa has a check in at the Cologne train station and I live close to the train station so I just had to walk there, check in and take the ICE (fast train) to Frankfurt which Lufthansa uses as 'flight' as well. It's not the cheapest way to travel though. There is an airline from Amsterdam (Air Marin?) which according to my knowledge is on the economic side. James and Anna should know that as I remember that they flew with that airline.

Joanie: you should plan in more time in Barcelona and maybe less in Madrid. Barcelona is a great city with lots of Gaudi-architecture. If you are a Dali-Fan (like I am) you can go on a day trip to Figueras and visit the Dali-museum there. I did that and it was one of the best things I ever did.

Andrea (right now not going anywhere - not even to work ... )

Thanks, I'll check, I think it's called Martinair (sp).

And I second your suggestion for Joanna. I love Barcelona, Sagrada Familia is a "must see" and Figueras is deffinitely worth visiting.
