Cape Code Guy, where r u staying? We are staying far away at the Bahia Principe coba, Hubby drinks the straight plain vodka pepsi, I try just about any drink made with vodka, What do you drink?

Ski, i'm flying in with no hotel i think. Drink? Tequila es mi favorito! After that just about anything but no sugar. I heard the Bahia is nice , we stayed right next door last year and the beach is beautiful.

My favorites are the two I focused on. My main focus was Florentine Renaissance and my secondary was U.S. relationship with Latin America. LOVE both those areas of history. Also very interested in US foreign policy since WWII. That's always a lively part of the class I teach on US history since 1900. But talking about Tequila, or about travel, when I am in Mexico, is just fine with me too. Sometimes I need a break from being academic!

We'll be getting there on the 11th and staying till the 22... We as well are winging it as always and stay in the cheaper hotels. One we may end up at is Hotels Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico: Rosa Mirador Hotel: Main Page ... The other one we'll be shooting for first I don't recall the name of, but it's just up the block from 5th around 6th or somewhere within a block or 2. Otherwise maybe Posada Lily for the first time or somewhere else.... Phantom Paradise is another that doesn't cost too much, but there prices vary from trip to trip seemingly depending on who's working. Who knows? There's a good chance you'll end up at the same Hotel as we will be. Otherwise, you might catch us at Dr.Taco a lot as that's Jessie's favorite. Mine is the little place near Posada Lily I mentioned. We will be bouncing to Tulum, Cozumel(scooter ride around the island), and maybe Valldoid, Punta Allen, Puerto Morelos, and Akumal but just maybe.... We're on a shoestring budget.
