you all are .......
more addicting than a porn site to an 18 year old kid.
Anyway , back in 1993 on my fourth trip to PDC(back when they had the checkpoint ,"gun bunker" just outside of CUN on 307) I was so enamored with the area I purchased a condo(not a timeshare) on the beach. At the time I was 22 years old and worried that the Mexican Government was going to take it away from me anytime. It took every last dime I had to do it Needless to say ,14 years later and 15 trips to playa,I am a happy man.Playa never gets old. Everyone on the board talks about what they have done in Playa , here is what I have NEVER done while in Playa.
Thanks for the wonderful site.Where can I donate a few Pesos ? |

You are so right about the addiction, though. My name is Cyndy and I am a Playaholic and a Peepaholic.

I've had a beer in Sr Frogs but I was invited and I didn't pay (three times). Does that count?
I've never eaten in a Johnny Rockets in the states (only in the DF and Playa) so for me it's a Mexican chain.

playa pics
I have a lot of old pics.i will post them in a few days.I did not own a digital camera in the early 90's
I also have a handful of old receipts...you remember when Beer was 7 pesos and Pastor tacos were 3. Back in the days 5th was only 5 blocks long. 307 was a 2lane hiway,The San Francisco was the only store other than mini supers.Playa to cozumel was 33 Pesos. Does anyone know the scoop on that castle looking place with the escalator between 5th and 10th.I watched them build it, went through the bars/retail stores and a year later it was for lease/sale. I was there in April 2006 and did not look. thanks again for the warm welcome |

We will be in Playa for a few days on the 12th of January. Lets have a cold one or two and gab about the place old and new. I was in the area first some 20 years ago and have been going back ever since. I was thinking the Beer Bucket on the 12th to start - What say you?
