Greetings from Minneapolis

My wife and I leave on Tuesday from Playa, our 4th annual trip to Mexico and 3rd to Playa. We absolutely love it in Playa. Our optimal day is waking up around 8, going for a quick run, leisurely eating some breakfast, strolling around 5th, heading to Mamita's, reading a good Grisham novel on the beach until about 3 and then asking the waiter to bring over bucket numero uno, continuing with that until about 5:30, getting cleaned, strolling back down 5th and interacting with the merchants, having a nice dinner, finding a smaller bar with live music and maybe doing some swing dancing, and heading back to the Luna Blue to crash by midnight. Ahhhh, heaven.

Anyway, thanks to all of you regulars for your insightful posts as now we have some new great ideas. We used to frequent Keith's bar and listen to Grady, Brent, and Chris - we distraught to find that it has closed, but we are excited to try some of your new recommendations.

I feel much less guilty spending a day being a glutton when I have worked out in the AM!
