Thanks, Maureen. I am just now starting to feel 100%. However, my husband and sister got sick when we got home. We think it was the sea water since the 3 of us were the only ones who went snorkeling and did swallow salt water from our group, not sure if any one has heard if this can make you sick, but that is the only thingwe can come up with since all of us in our group ate and drank the same things.

I drank about a gallon of salt water when snorkeling at Isla Mujeres. The beer and tequila that day probably kept the symptoms away for awhile. But the next day I wasn't myself. I am sure it was the salt water. After a day, I felt better. No real problems, just felt rather poorly. I drank fairly excessively after that and suffered no ill effects. My effects only lasted a day. You could have picked up a parasite though. Some people are more susceptible than others.
