Well, it's official. At breakfast this morning I told jerry we were going to Playa. He asked why i hadn't mentioned it earlier. I said i was waiting to get him drunk first. Since that didn't happen this weekend, i figured i'd better go ahead and tell him so he wouldn't make any other plans for that time period.

He took it rather well and then even said .. 'well, that's not much time'. I reminded him we are trying to go to Europe in September and I didn't want to use up all our time off.

So, looks like, except for lodging, all things are set ! May 8-12

see everyone there !

Well looks like Laurie and I are coming down for 14 days beginning of may for a divorce party!!! We were just planning it when I logged in here on my blackberry and saw this thread!

It looks like I will be there. I am going to ask for May 11th- May whatever that next Sunday is, off. I will probably spend the first two days in Cancun

Yeah, I can't believe I typed that, but hey when you can stay at the Ritz-Carlton for $50 and other discounts ya might as well take advantage of it.

funny, but the Ritz used to be next to the dump in Cancun..... that was like in '95, maybe they've cleaned it up since then

shitte and all these years I thought Cancun was the dump

just joking. Gawd I hope its been cleaned up. I just want to get a massage, lay by the pool eat and drink. no thinking involved. Now anyone is more than welcome to join me if they would like. But its going to be a very relaxing day for me, then when I get to Playa all HELL will break lose
