Hey Neighbor!! Just finishing up my packing now. I have to be all packed and ready to go by tomorrow night when I hit my rack. I leave straight from work on Thursday to stay at a hotel near the airport since I have to be there at 5am. uggh!! Look for me @ 2ish on Friday to check in....if you are around. Otherwise, I'll see you at dinner.

International Cell Phone
Does anyone know where in Playa del Carmen that I can purchase a prepaid cell phone with international coverage?

Go to telcel store at mega...buy a phone for 300 pesos...buy some minutes and pay through the butt for international calls
I would think any phone has international coverage if your willing to pay for it

I have a Tel Cel and have used it to call Canada to check on my kiddos, it was about a dollar a minute, a 500 Peso min card (which is the best deal because they give you bonus minutes) got me about an hour of talk time...

The Motorla (Motophone) phone that Fernado sells at his telcel store in Mega comes with 100 pesos of time/money all for 300 pesos. So, in actuality, the phone cost only 200 pesos. I bought one just to let friends use while they are in town - they buy the minutes, i.e., Amigo card. And, Fernado speaks English!

See you (whoever you might be) in Playa tomorrow!! David and I will hopefully be at Bad Boys by about 6ish (although we land at Cancun at 12:30ish - I'm allowing for travel time and maybe a quick nap or bite to eat). I'll be the one with the red, raw nose who looks like she came down with a crappy headcold two days before her Playa vacation and still feels and looks like total sh*t. David'll be the one who's just about done with that same cold (and had better timing to have had it last weekend) but has the "pleasure" of now putting up with my moaning/groaning about it.

Why is it that a couple of hard-working stiffs can be healthy for MONTHS and then get sick right before or just as they go away on vacation??!! It sucks, I tell ya.... Just plain SUCKS. (No, I'm not too cranky!!!)

It's 7:45 and we're off to beddie-bye. Alarm set for 2:30 AM. Taxi due at 4 AM. Flight outta Logan at 6:30.
