No, these two resorts really aren't comparable. The Allegro is 3-4 star, Barcelo is 5 star. The Barcelo has an awesome beach, the Allegro barely any beach. Big differences with dining options, food selection, pools, ground, etc.
Just not comparing apples to apples with these two properties. If you have the opportunity to switch at a price that is affordable for you, then personally, I would do it in a heatbeat!
