Question Weather and Crowds at the Maya & Lindo ??

Hi All,

We are heading back to the Maya this time on Feb 3rd, we stayed at the Lindo in December 2006. At this point it looks like there will be 8 or 9 of us. We had a great time and are looking forward to doing it all over again.

What's happening with the weather, also how busy is the beginning of Feb at the resort? We are having a meeting next weekend and I would like to bring everyone up to speed and I don't know much about what it's like to go at that time of the year. Does anyone have any insights regarding early Feb?

kinda hard to tell what's going to happen to the weather in February at the Lindo seeing that it's January now...but

February to May
Spring is a beautiful time of year here, with very little rain and flowers everywhere. The ocean gets calmer and warmer, as temperature rises. Nights can still be a little cooler, but sweaters are rarely called for.

It's high season so you should figure that it will be full.

Thanks Babaloo,
I wasn't expecting an accurate forecast , just a general idea what to expect to pass on to the others. As you say it is high season they need to book reservations for prefered restaurants (if even possible) as soon as we arrive.

Never stayed at the Moon Palace, but I have stayed at the Lindo...loved everything about it. I'd go back there in a heartbeat.

Hi there,

We were there in Feb of '06. It was smokin hot in the day but a breeze did come up at night so pack a light sweater/hoody just in case. Have fun!
