The Road To Chetumal

Does anyone know if the buses are on time to Chetumal? I have heard the the hiway is pretty beat up from the hurricane and the bus can take up to 8 hours for the 4 1/2 hour trip. Thanx in advance. Cheers

Hmmm... we went to Mahajual on the highway after Dean and it wasn't any different than it had been before. Had you heard that the road south of there was where it was damaged? I can't imagine, as most of that section was pretty new and much of it was even 4 lanes.

I just drove to Chetumal a couple of times in late December. No problems on the highway.

The road to Chetumal is in very good shape...we drove by Chetumal on our trip through southern Mexico.
