Hello from Winnipeg
Hi everyone. My husband and I are arriving in Playa on January 27th and are staying at the Allegro Playacar. I have heard that the hotel has lost most of the beach, but that doesn't bother us, as we like to walk the beach, check out some the restaurants in town and just generally relax by the pool. We stayed home last winter but when we saw the cheap deal online, we thought we'd take a chance. Sunseekers called us today and told us that the Allegro has had wind and water damage, and that we have the option to cancel our trip. I asked if this damage was from the last hurricane, but she said that it is fairly recent. My question is has there been any bad weather in playa lately? I have been checking the webcam daily and from what I can see the weather looks pretty good. I'm wondering if this warning lets the hotel off the hook, if after we arrive, we decide we aren't satisfied? Thanks for any information.

Hi, you might want to post this in the general or all inclusive area. I think more people may see it there. There is a gal who is a travel agent and and all around great person named Shammy who will be able to answer your question if she sees it!!
Best of luck.......... |
