Going to playa Blanca

Any advices of what should we do as a family in playa Blanca? on the internet they show many beautiful and great things.. but the truth is nothing is as they pictured, we had a bad experience last year in Mazattlan it was a waisted.. and they say to us "if you like it tell someone else if yo do NOT like it keep it quite" We really apreciate if someone tell us what is good or not, so we do not have to expose the kids to bad experiences so earlier.
Thanks
Sandra

west coast, right?
and we're east coast
hmmm...perhaps you should post your question on a forum closer to your intended destination
...or forget Playa Blanca and just come here where you are guaranteed a great time.

The place was wonderful for an All Inclusive, but they shut down after 9/11.

I was there on vacations twice and worked there for 1 year.

It was a self-contained little paradise.

And Babs is completely right.

But if we are talking about the same Playa Blanca I met, it's gone.

We went on our honeymoon there in 1992.

The general manager at that time was from Minnesota, that's why the have the ball hockey rink.

We liked it!

I have to find and scan the (nondigital, of course, from 1992) picture of Mrs Juanito right after the Margarita horseback ride. She had a margarita or 8 and I think I have a picture of her listing at a 45 degree angle off the horse.

Just out of curiosity, could you tell me a little more about your bad experience in Mazatlan? I am curious to know because a friend of mine wants to take a trip there and she has been looking for some personal insight into the place. Thank you so much
