Is Chico Latino still open?

Is it the 2nd floor restaurant/bar between 6th and 8th across from Bourbon Street?

If it's the place I'm thinking of...It was closed when we were there in Aug 2006. When we were back in Playa in Nov 2007 it was reopened as something new. Can't remember the name. I do remember seeing a huge projection TV that you can see from the street. They were showing a soccer game and then later showing The Simpsons. I'll see if I can find the name of it.

I don't know if it reopened, but I know for sure that the ex-owners are not in it anymore.

We loved it there too. The owners were always a pleasure to talk with and they made the best caipirinha!

I think I saw them there in November talking with Maurizio at Casa Mediterranea. By the way the greetings looked, it seemed they haven't been around for a while. But I could have misread the situation.

The place is now called something like Pica Pica or Pico Pica.
Never walked upstairs... but I´m guessing it´s different owners.

Frank, they're still in Playa, I saw them today at the beach. Manuela actually babysits for me sometimes. She's lovely.
