Anyone taken the ferry from Cancun to Playa?
We are looking at taking the ferry from Cancun to Playa instead of the bus. Any thoughts on that idea? Good bad? I see it is more expensive...

I didn't even realize there was a ferry from Cancun to Playa...interesting...
The bus was super quick and cheaper...$8.00 I think? That's my preferred mode of transportation from the airport.

I guess you could take a taxi from the airport to the Isla ferry, then the ferry to Cozumel, the the ferry to Playa. Be an all day trip if you got the time. I'd rather take the bus and be on the beach in an hour, but that's me.

that would be nice but you can't get a ferry from Cancun to Cozumel or from Isla Mujeres to Cozumel

Sorry, it was here on Playa.info on the home page there is a link to read more and getting around then a mention to getting playa from COZUMEL... Sorry.

maybe this doen't qualify as a ferry tho....and I think it stops at Isla on the way.

Ah, yes...

There is a ferry from Cancun to Playa, it is the land ferry, otherwise known as the ADO bus!
