Hi All,

This was one of the best Peep Meets ever! Don & Deb did an incredible job organizing (name tags, set price for the buffet, & more). They were such great hosts. Manne & Suzie you two and your staff are so special. The meal was fabulous.....the hospitality...bar none .....the best. Thanks for that extra special Tequilia pourer thing after the incredible meal!! Suzie you have the brightest smile of anyone I know!!! What a fun night! My next post will be my photos of the many nice, kind folks we met!

By the way ....this is quite a generous group too. With Manne's Jug for Shelter donations (always on his bar) ...combined with watch & calendar sales we raised $285.00 us. I report US because that's the currency I'm more familiar with....I good with Pesos, but I have lost track of the Canadian dollar. This particular Peep Meet was about 90% wonderful Canadians!!!
Thanks to everyone for a great time & a whole bunch of generousity!!! Ok ...now photos to follow on my next post.

Home for 2 days and already planning our next trip back - in part to the warm welcome we recieved at Mannies! (Okay, 90 degrees, sun and sand helped, who are we kidding)
Thank-you all for allowing us to join this party - Both Brien and I had a great time - and the food was fantastic!!!

Especially - thanks for welcoming the peeps from the "south"
For Maureen - thanks for the welcome for your newest Irish cousins - not sure about Heather's heritage - but who doesn't want to be Irish

And a Very Special Thanks to Mannie and Suzie and your very generous friend Nina

And not to forget those San Fransisco Peeps - Jeff and Theresa

Just wanted to add our thanks for the great Ribs and Suds event. The food was fantastic!! Manne and Suzie were so generous to let us all take over their resturant for the evening. Thanks too for Don and Debs great work in getting it all together. Hopefully we can make it to the next one too. It was the BIG event that we were looking forward to and it was all that we hoped for.

We got home yesterday and I was looking over our pictures from our holiday. We have more pictures of that increduble night than we do of any other event during our two weeks. Many of ours are the same as those posted here & on Mannes website. It's funny how margaritas & shots of tequila make me want to take tons of pictures as well as dance as if no one is watching!!!!

Thank you Don & Deb for organizing & Susie & Manne for the great food & a wonderful evening. It was great to meet so many nice people. Looking forward to meeting up again next year.

A few folks have already asked about a "Ribs & Suds 3", and, while it's a long way off right now, if I was you, I would keep Wed Mar 4, 2009 available and plan to fast until evening.

Wednesday March 4,2009 sounds perfect! I was a little concerned because we have to book our holidays at work for the next year early in January and all we could get was the first two weeks of March '09. My first thought was , oh noooo,,"what if Manne's night is in the last week of February". Glad to hear we wont miss it(tentively).
