Hi from Sunny BC!

Hi, I also am from BC, but no snow here! We're in Victoria....and yeah, I lied a bit, it's not really sunny, but there is definitely no snow! We are heading down to Playa at the end of March and are very excited! Just wanted to say....this site seems very informative and I've already learned quite a bit and I only just joined.

Anticipation is such a large part of any trip - don't you think? Enjoy your planning.
You will learn so much from this site. I certainly have. The notebook is getting filled up with tips, suggestions...

Thanks so much for the replies! Yeah, I think anticipation is a HUGE part of the fun. We went to the Mayan (Bahia Principe Tulum) two years ago and decided this time we're staying closer to Playa del Carmen. I am soooo looking forward to this trip! I just can't wait to get away from winter! :-) It's not snowing here, but it is cold and rainy. We had some sun today, but it's still winter sun and I want warm sun! I can't wait to continue exploring this site because it has so much interesting stuff on here. And I absolutely LOVE the webcam....I sat and watched it for quite some time this morning!

We're from Victoria and we're going to be arriving in Playa late March 29th and staying for two weeks. So far it looks like we'll be staying at Sandos Playacar, but we're not booking until Friday (waiting for brother's bonus money!!), so things could change. When are you going?
