That's funny...I almost wrote that in my last post! Seems like he might be on the lucky end of the double standard though. Maybe they've loosened up the rules since the Frenchy days. Plus David H. is sort of a hottie, and I don't think they want to lose him if they can avoid it. Bad for ratings.

Well he smashed my annoying button a long time ago... he grates on me like toothpaste and orange juice! I felt like I was wathcing something from a drag show last night. Guess it's just as well I can't load the video. That being said, besides Jason and David and David, I think any of the guys can go home this week.

I agree 100%! I think he makes Simon very, very uncomfortable!

I loved Jason and the 3 Davids last night. I think Luke may be gone, unless the females are voting based on the eye candy factor. He sure is cute!

I liked Chikezie also last night. First time since the auditions that I thought he sounded really good. Great song choice.

Yeah, Simon looked uncomfortable for sure. Around this time, Simon always starts slamming people that he thinks have no shot at winning, it's his way of trying to get rid of the riff raff. Poor chikezie fell into that category last night.

My bottom 3 are Chikezie, Danny and Luke (even though I think he is soooo cute).

My favs are David A., David Cook, and Jason. Michael Johns and David H., I could take or leave.

Other thoughts.... I'm really getting tired of everyone coming down on Simon. I happen to think his comments and critiques are the most right on. Even when he is about to say something good about the contestant, if he starts out with a slight negative, they will cut him off and start slamming him. Let him finish for heaven's sake... it's getting old. Plus I think it's rude when the contestant is standing there and the 3 judges are arguing amongst themselves, it's ridiculous.

I agree with you that Simon usually has the most honest take on their performance... Paula is just mixing way to many prescriptions.. the person could get up there and forget their lines and sing out of tune and she'd say how they gave it their best and looked great and how cute they are and how much she loves them. Her act is getting very tired...

I think my favorite of Paula's last night was her commenting to each one how unique and fresh and different they all were. And to one of them she said something like "And again, you are unique and you are your own person... just like everyone else tonight."

I don't really know that Simon is more honest than Randy. More blunt definitely. If I needed one of the three judges to watch my back I'd have to pick Randy. I think he's the more level headed of the three. The show needs Simon's crudeness and Paula's dingyness for apeal I think. Keeps things interesting. I like all three of them. Good team.

I just don't like something Simon has been saying alot this season, and I don't remember him saying this in season's past, and that is telling someone that they aren't good enough to make it through. No reason to say that other than to be mean!
But, other than that, I usually agree with him also.

my interpretation of that is that he is in this to make money.. I think he is trying to influence the voters not to bother with certain people becasue he doesn't think them ultimately marketable. I can see the mean angle though...

I agree that he is trying to influence to voters but they (the judges) were the ones that chose these guys to begin with. So instead of saying something positive about getting this far he makes it sound like they don't have any talent at all.
Again, unnecessarily mean.
And I am just really tired of listening to Paula! BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!!
