The pretty blonde who sang Amazing Grace is from a really small town in Oregon. Other than nerves she had it all - talent, looks, composure. And she is a cage fighter too!

Yep. I didn't think too many people would catch that. I only noticed because I have seriously considered making one for myself at a not too distant point in the past. I am my own version of Scary Star Wars chick. *snicker*

I have to admit, that last bit had me howling. It was totally contrived, but when the judges joined in I couldn't help but laugh out out. Especially at Paula's signing and dancing.

He cracked me up! Especially in the interview after, talking about Simon with tears in his eyes. Saying what a wonderful person he was! Too funny.
Another early standout, Katie, the voice impersonator. She was good also. I still like the Amazing Grace girl the best.
