3. Carly - let someone else pick the song for you please! (Great job on a big song!)
4. David A - the boy can sing, too bad he didn't sing last night.. oh wait he did, I have no recollection of his performance, did he sing Imagine by John lennon.. no? oops, that was a few weeks ago.. So much talent, so much cuteness, so little stage charisma and variation.. he could still wake up and come back and win this, he'll also need to wake the rest of us up as other than his die hard fans I think America is starting to take an extra bathroom break during his performances.
5. Jason - Has neverr seen a Lord Weber musical before, Dude... Ah.. it showed DOH!!
6. Brooke - This will probably be her last performance on the show this year. You just can't stop and start twice in a season.. once ok, but not twice, and the poor thing is so emotional. I dread the scene if she is eliminated! Please be nice tonight Ryan
7. This was the week where we forced people into uncomfortable situations.. David C showed us why he will probably win, Jason why he probably won't
8. "Lord" Andrew llloyd Weber is an awkward little man...
9. Paula actually CAN say something less than positive
10. Even when she does, Simon will disagree with her to annoy her.
Clearly there were 3 really good performances, one ok, and two train wrecks.

You took the works right out of my mouth, Jaybird. He's got a nice voice. But his lack of charisma and whole demeanor just make me cringe. Absolutely NO star quality.

I heart David Cook. I get goosebumps when he sings.
And I am a Carly fan.

I must be the only one but I actually thought David A sounded very good last night. Back to what he sounded like in the beginning. I didn't know the song he sang but I liked it. I do agree that he is weird though, no stage presence what so ever.
Carly was great!
And of course there was David C, as someone pointed out, our next American Idol.

I agree that ALW is a strange little man, but most artistic geniuses are, aren't they? I mean, he was composing by age 5 or something. He's our modern day Mozart. Pure genius to be able to compose like he can.

What struck me about him though was his real advice for the contestants. He seemed to be actually helping them and directing them and being honest. Most of the celebrity guests just go "wow, s/he sings so pretty" .. But ALW seemed genuinely interested in helping them, and giving them concrete advice about their overall performance, not just the vocal part. And you can really see the result of that with Carly and Sayesha's great performances.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is a superstar... Would love to be able to go and see each one of his stage shows...
His music has given me hours of pleasure...
I thoroughly enjoyed watching how he mentored the contestants...
His honest remarks were very refreshing...

I agree Jason or Brooke should leave tonight...

Carley was wonderful last night...

tm, you're not the only one. I really think he has a fantastic voice, and great future potential. I just think he really has to work on his stage presence and personality. The awestruck boy act gets a little old. AI is about finding your inner charisma and blowing it out. He hasn't done that yet. Picks obscure tunes that are hard to rock. Really hasn't tried anything upbeat, fun, and age appropriate.

He really is a strange duck, so out of place on the stage. Hopefully some day he will grow out of that but probably not. He's been in this business so long that if he hasn't gotten used to it by now he probably never will. It's a waste of a beautiful voice, really.

SKM, I'm with you, Josh Groban has one of the most magnificent voices I have ever heard.
Please don't compare that awkward little boy to Josh Groban.
I mean, come one, David has a beautiful voice but there is no comparison!

I agree that Davis Archuleta sings very well. It's the rest of the package that is hard to take IMO.
