I wasnt surprised at all that Carley went packing. She certainly didnt deserve to go but what niche does she fit into as far as fans?? She doesnt seem like she would really have a powerful fanbase group that should would fit into and I think thats her problem.

Giddee up.. bring it on, should be a fun night.. and most fo the tunes should sound familiar, except for the obscure ballad David A pulls out...
My best guess is Brooke is on the chopping block.. but who knows really? so come on "America: let's hear some "beautiful Noise" "cherry Cherry", as we say "hello again" to our "Cracklin Rose" contestents, as they we listen for "Song Sung Blues" then "Sweet Carolyn" I'm a believer" and I'll be "Forver in Blue jeans" |

![]() .......Why didn't Ryan stop her?? Now I see that she probably did see the dress rehersal but OMG she made no sense.............Can't see the allure of David A....................I thought both his songs were brutal...........I wish David C would have sang either of those. Brooke looked far more comfortable during the second song. Jason is Jason and Sayesha is really improving every week.............loved her hair extensions! ![]() |

I really like Neil Diamond and I thought tonight was downright painful. David C was good, but the show ended 45 mins ago and I couldn't tell you either song. Hmmmm...
Sayesha was good. I'm starting to like her. David A was his same pathetic little self. I wish him gone now. Brooke singing "I'm a Believer" was one of the worst performances I think I've seen on the show. My house is a bigtime Monkees fan house and I just could hardly get through it. Her second song was better and I agree it was a tough song and she pulled it off, dawg. Can I just say that I never have, but especially not now, gotten Jason. He doesn't have any vocal range. Most of his performances are snoozers. Okay, I see that he's kinda cute, has that laid-back vibe, but he's NO American Idol. I'm just not that into him. Unfortunately he has a pretty big fan base that will probably keep him around. I like Brooke, but she's again my prediction to go home. She's getting weaker as Sayesha is getting stronger. Brooke has star quality, but in a different way. Is there a big market for Carly Simon-types these days? |

(((((YAWN))))) Was American Idol on tonight?
![]() That really was a disappointment. I agree with ya'll's assessments. David C. was probably my favorite with Syesha coming in second. Jason...Nah, David A.....Nah, Brooke......Nah. Boring. |

Last night was pretty boring IMO. They just didn't do Neil's songs any justice. I think Jason will go home tonight but then again it could also be Sayesha or Brooke. Although I really enjoyed Brooke's second song. She is really amazing and appears to sing much stronger behind the piano.

I'm guessing Syesha goes home.
Based on performance, it should be Brooke or Jason. Brooke's first song was just amateurish. Jason has become very one-dimensional in my opinion. I believe both of these two have enough of the popular vote to keep them in one more week. Syesha would have to be really rock the house to beat them. I think it's her week to go. I actually liked David A's performance of America. I knew he'd sing that, and it did show his range. David C sounded hoarse on his first song. I love him as a performer, but I didn't really like hjis song choices. They've annointed him as the one to beat, and I do think he has much more charisma and raw talent than any of the others. |

He maybe a good performer, but he's let it go to his head already...Daughtry did the same thing and was voted off early. Didn't hurt his career any, but certainly shocked the "sure winner" attitude out of him! |

but how do you really feel! I really like DC, and I don't think he's pompous at all! I agree that people misread him the way they misread Chris Daughtry. I think people mistake his soft-spoken demeanor as attitude. I think he's a little shy and maybe a little unpolished, not slick. They certainly don't have a problem filling that hall with screaming girls for his performances. I love that I never know what he's going to do with a song, which you can't say about ANY of the remaining compeitors. I would pay to see him and will buy his CD when it comes out. Which I can't even imagine doing with any of the remaining others. |
