Too much "compression" being used on the vocals. I too have noticed this with even the idol contestants. Compression is an effect to "even out" the level of vocals (and instruments). If it is overdone, it can make vocals sound weak and lifeless. If you are listening with a 5.1 sound system it is really noticable. I wish they would go back to their old sound balance.

I haven't voted at all this year but I just might get in a few for the next two shows. I don't see it happening but I'd sure love to see David C and Syesha as the final two.

With 45 million votes coming in, you know that many of the votes are coming in from 12 and 13 year old girls who are crazy about Jason and David A. Could go either way between those two. Don't under estimate the effect of Jason's big blue eyes on that demographic

Let the rock and roll hall of fame night begin.. 2 songs from each. Should be material there for everyone.. I think Sayesha is on the block unless somehting dramatic happens.

I agree, but if Sayesha goes tonight it will be very interesting to see the group number next week with only the three guys!!

Unfortunately I think you are right about Syesha. Wish Jason would go but I think that's a very long shot. Wouldn't surprise me to even see David Cook get the boot. Probably be the two cutey boys for the final two.

Oh BTW. Every year they brag that they have the best talent yet. I don't agree with that at all this year. They've had much better in previous years.

with any luck, maybe they will kill the group thing.. and I would not be surprised to see the just the cuteys at the end.. in fact, the only thing that would surprise me right about now is Sayesha making the final two.

Poor Jason...............I think he really just wants to end his run..........Sayesha is getting better every week. My husband ( who rarely watches but feels free to comment) felt her tears were fake............I say no way!!

Wow. Jason blew chunks. I hope he goes bye-bye.

My husband has commented that he thinks David A looks like a chimp and calls him Cornelius. So now he's ruined for me. I have to look away. Couldn't even pull a rockin' song out of his a$$ on ROCK AND ROLL NIGHT!!!

Thought David C's second song was better than his first, and he did pretty good, but not really his best night.

And Syesha is really getting good. I hope for David C and Syesha in the top two, but prolly David A will go there instead of her. Oh well.
