Yeah, making into the top 10 really means that you have to do so many silly things outside of the main competition...you can see why some of them like Carley and Jason seem relieved to be free of all that.

It's funny because watching Jason (remember, I am one of his few fans

) thinking he was probably saying something like this "I can't believe they make us do this stuff!"

He looked like he was more uncomfortable than David A.

Which would support the theory that he was way stoned... probably the only way he could put up with it!
One observation I have noted, doesn't it seem that David C has taken sort of a big brother role with David A? He seems to look after him a bit.

I noticed that too...You always see him take David A by the shoulders and move him to where he's supposed to be, or give him an encouraging pat on the back. It's sorta sweet.

And this just in.. David A's father is now banned from rehearsals.. as I recall, he was also banned from Star Search when David A competed there. THis guy must be one flaming A hole!

As an involved hockey parent.............I see it all the time, and I can only imagine as the stakes get higher ( and can they get much higher than American Idol??) the intensity of the "stage Dad" get higher too.......................poor kid
