yeah, that was really awkward as well... talk about a fish out of water... that was uncomfortable.. I can just see the late night ads 20 years from now... David A sings 90's hip hop and rap..

I missed it last night.
But the Washington Post seems to agree with all of you. (I love their recap column! It's called "American Idol: We Watch So You Don't Have To." ) Their prediction is the 2 Davids in the final. I would have to agree, but I wish it would be David C and Syesha. One part I am glad I missed is David A's performance of the Chris Brown song. Like Drewl, the Post deemed it "AWK-WARD!" BTW, Eileen, your post in Randy's voice made me laugh. ![]() |

I am sure this is why the guys are fighting over her
, but does anyone else think that Sayeshas "performances" were a little too much for American Idol?![]() Her voice sounded beautiful and I think she gets better every week but COME ON! Caberetish is right! I was glad Simon chose that song for David C. I like when he tones it down. |

In those little hometown segments, I was floored by how many turned out for David C. He is much more popular than I realized. He is gonna give DA a good run for his money, I think. I'm rooting for him that's for sure! He really seems to be a very sweet person. I love how "big brotherly" he treats David A. Seems to be genuine affection there. David C did seem somewhat sad and melancholy last night. I don't know if he was just overwhelmed with emotion at making it this far, or sadness at another person leaving. I think in general, he's a more quiet, introspective character than we've seen make it this far on this show before. I can't wait to see what he does next week.
