I missed it last night. But the Washington Post seems to agree with all of you. (I love their recap column! It's called "American Idol: We Watch So You Don't Have To." ) Their prediction is the 2 Davids in the final. I would have to agree, but I wish it would be David C and Syesha.

One part I am glad I missed is David A's performance of the Chris Brown song. Like Drewl, the Post deemed it "AWK-WARD!"

I am sure this is why the guys are fighting over her, but does anyone else think that Sayeshas "performances" were a little too much for American Idol?
Her voice sounded beautiful and I think she gets better every week but COME ON! Caberetish is right!
I was glad Simon chose that song for David C. I like when he tones it down.

Fever was a really really bad cabaret choice. Period! She should have gone contemporary! It may be her downfall.

I'm glad...it's just that they never seem to switch up their famous phrases...and he is the worst! he says exactly the same lines with every single performance! I mean, yeah, you're bored with it at this point, dawg, but, can you put a LITTLE thought into your commentary? Sheesh!

We are going to get out every phone and cell phone we have next week to vote for David C. Not a big fan of David A....or his dad.

In those little hometown segments, I was floored by how many turned out for David C. He is much more popular than I realized. He is gonna give DA a good run for his money, I think. I'm rooting for him that's for sure! He really seems to be a very sweet person. I love how "big brotherly" he treats David A. Seems to be genuine affection there. David C did seem somewhat sad and melancholy last night. I don't know if he was just overwhelmed with emotion at making it this far, or sadness at another person leaving. I think in general, he's a more quiet, introspective character than we've seen make it this far on this show before. I can't wait to see what he does next week.

He really does seem like a genuinely good person... he is so brotherly with David A, seems to protect him when he can. I thought the hometown segments were very interesting.. very!! And you are right, David C is more popular and the fact the that he was only in this for his brother. whom he asked on stage.. all really good stuff!! At this point, it almost doesn't matter who wins.. David C has the commercial potential, Syesha will go on to an acting and singing career and David A if he ever grows up and Dad doesn't destroy him, can make some great swooning love song albums.. maybe create a new genre of teeny bopper ballad music. Lyrics could be like.. "baby, my thumb is so sore from texting you.. ooh ooh..." or perhaps "And darling, should it be my myspace or yours?"
