I hope it's David C. I think he has absolutely everything to be the next idol. David A. still bothers me with his 12 year old look and how he acts and speaks but his voice is fabulous.

Well, I'm not saying David C isn't popular (cuz he IS), but he WAS broadcasting from Kansas City, instead of Podunk, Utah so the pickin's were bigger to start with...... and how fun to throw out a pitch at the Royals game... Celina Raye (remember her from a few seasons back?) is now an official fixture at all of the Dallas Stars games--sings the national anthem, introduces various "bits" during the intermissions etc...

anyone catch Simon's face during Fantasia's performance? stunned, shocked, hornswoggled, pick a word...

I want DavidC to win because I think he's the better contestant, but I can't help but worry that winning is the kiss of death...

I actually enjoyed Fantasia's bit. Can't say I understood it completely but I got a kick out of the energy of it all. Pretty amazing if you ask me.

I know that the national anthem is difficult to sing, but you'd think that as many times as she has sung the song that she could actually hit the notes.

I was thinking about that. But....David C has the other votes, not being teeny bopper. There are a lot of us out there too. I will be voting for David C.
