I have a feeling you're right though. Really seemed to come out of nowhere. I may be misjudging the situation, but I have a feeling that she would have laughed in his face if he had asked her out BEFORE he won American Idol.

I have to admit his song has grown on me. That is if the radio stations don't stop playing it to death.

So far I haven't even heard it. I listen mostly to an alt-rock station in Boston (WFNX) and I guess he's not on the approved list of cool artists...

Yeah, it's funny, because they TALK about AI all the time, they just don't play any of that music. It will be interesting to see whether the AI folks will let DC make the kind of album that he wants to make, or whether they'll force him to sing more cheesy, schlocky stuff.

I remember being OUTRAGED when he got bumped off before several unworthy people. But he's the only AI artist whose CD I own. I love it!

I loved Carrie Underwoods first CD that was made under AI's control. Even though she is primarily a country singer, that cd wasn't too bad (can you tell I don't like country?) I even got a kick out of her beating the crap out of her boyfriends 4WD!
Now her second cd is way too twangy for me! I bought it and I'll never listen to it.
