My earlier pick for the Sanjaya of season 7 was Danny but I don't think the young girls will like him anymore than we do so I switched to Garrett. And Michael Johns, still HOT! ![]() |

I just loved the dread lock kid. The guitar worked well with his laid back, surfer tunes delivery. But then when they talked to him he looked terrified and seemed shocked that the judges liked him! Very cute...
Michael Johns is hot. If he continues with the vocals from Bohemian Rhapsody and last night's Doors, he will be the one to beat. Great stage presense. It's a guy's turn to win this year, right? ![]() |

The rocker girl is fun to watch but I haven't seen any singing talent from her yet. The girl that sang the Spinning Wheel song is good but damn I've hated that song since it came out in the 60s. |

Watched my first ever American Idol show yesterday evening. Gives you an idea of how desperate I was for distraction. It was okay, I guess, but I don't see why it's as popular as it apparently is. It's just a big budget amateur hour. I was more impressed with the house band than with any of the performers. Wassup with that guy on the right end of the judge's panel? The white guy, not the black dude. Is he always that obnoxious? Certainly likes to hear the sound of his own voice. I understand there's a Canadian Idol show as well. I presume it's just more of the same, but without the striking production values?

I'll wait to see another performance from Irish gal, "Yes" woman, little hair and makeup girl and the impersonator before passing more judgement. The rest.. fodder for the next few weeks. |

Is it just me or was Paula stoned again.
![]() Yes Bumper, the Canadian Idol is basically the same. I don't really watch it because I can't stand Ben Mulroney who is the equivalent of Ryan Seacrest. Last edited by BeachBunny70 : 02-21-2008 at 10:33 AM. |

Poor Paula!
![]() I notice she can't speak in smooth sentences anymore...her words are very choppy! What's with that?? From what I wtched...and it's not much..I think the dreadlock guy has the most beautiful eyes....so I think he should win. ![]() I guess that gives you an indication of how much I think of American Idol.....when's Desperate Housewives gonna be back on???![]() ![]() ![]() |
