I've only seen the first 8 girls. We got home late last night. And we'll be out again tonight. Birthday stuff in the family. I hope I haven't seen the best of the girls or else they are much more disappointing than the boys were.

And poor Bumper seeing this for the first time. I can't believe you've never heard about Simon Cowell and his mouth. Even if you've never seen the show, his directness and ability to bring contestants to tears, is legendary!

my sweet daughter has a mutual friend with sanjaya..... she spent a whole day with him shopping, eating out.... and some other stuff. She said he is really nice, and has a really positive attitude, but nobody really noticed him and if they did they didnt say anything ... only at dinner when the waitress mentioned something. She said he has big dreams.... I guess everyone needs one!

So who does everyone think should go home tonight? My votes:

For the girls:
- Amy "Where the Boys Are" Davis. Dreadful.
- Kady "Groovy Kind of Love" Malloy. So bland and forgettable.

(And BTW, that Carly Smithson is WAY overrated.)

For the boys:
- Luke "Everybody's Talking at Me" Menard. Puh-leeze.
- Danny "Jailhouse Rock" Noriega. Just so annoying.

I agree with Amy, but then I pick Kristy Lee Cook as the other girl to go home.

I also agree with Luke, but then I pick Jason Yaeger as the other boy. I think I fell asleep during Jason's song...I was so bored to tears by it.

I'm with you guys! Joanne should not have gone home yet. It should have been Amanda instead.
The guys were good choices to go but I was kind of surprised that Garrett went already. I thought for sure the girls would keep him in.
And whats with Ramiele! If she is this upset this early when her friends are out she will only get worse with every passing week as they all become closer.

Ditto here. I wasn't surprised with who left. I would like to see Joanne go further.

I was thinking the same about Ramiele. She's going to have a breakdown if she doesn't toughen up a bit. That's a lot of emotion!

I thought all the gals ( and some of the guys) seemed far too emotional. I was surprised to see Joanne go so early............love the show from here on in!!

I was really irked at what the caustic Simon said when Colton was voted off.I mean, I am used to him being sarcastic and all, but that was downright cruel , as you could see that the kid was clearly stunned and sad to be voted off.And to say it with his parents spotlighted there too!!!!They did'nt look too happy either.I don't like the way they are having the parents of the kids voted off up on the balcony spotlighted like that.....it seems like an added stab to the back.

Comments on the girls and guys this week?

I liked Michael Johns this week (the Aussie).

I wish I could remember more of their real names...but maybe that's the problem...they're unremarkable, unmemorable.

The girls kinda sucked. But I liked the Carly Simon girl.

I think the idea of having a bunch of ringers is backfiring a little...? Or do this many always suck at this point? I think so. That Danny Noriega kid has got to go!!!
