American Idol, here we go again

Some doozies for sure.
Paula seems somewhat normal this season.

Some early standouts IMHO, the first guy that lost 204 lbs (don't remember his name), the guy with the dreds, Chris (what magnificent bone structure

), and the girl that sang Amazing Grace.

I actually enjoy this part

and then once they pick the top12. My least favorite part is the beginning of hollywood before they pick the top 12 or 10.
This end I get to watch with my son and we have a good laugh together and then my husband starts watching as they start narrowing it down.

I can handle Hollywood except for the stupid group thing... it is the SAME every year! Someone doesn't practice; someone is left out... then they sing as a group and it doesn't even matter as far as who is let go....

I actually thought they weren't too mean last night... maybe they decided to tone it down... or else there was a lot of strategic editing...

Damn, she was crazy and laughed hard at the Star Wars girl. Felt sorry for the sixteen year old female linebacker though.

So did the judges, evidently. Never saw them do anything like that before. Even Simon showed he had a heart after all!

Yeah, and Glitter Girl? WTF!! They really weren't to mean to her either. Although Simon did mention something about her audition being "poccessed"!

I'm with you Char. This is the part I like the least. I can't stand it when they make fun of some of these kids. Okay, the Star Wars girl was pretty funny. The eyeshadow girl. I had to go back and watch it twice to see if she had boobs. Are we really sure it was a girl??? I know she said her name was Alexis, but I'm still on the fence over that one.

The big girl that was singing for her sick mother............that made me get all teary eyed. Bless her little heart

And yes I was glad they all walked her out.

But my number one favorite from last night was the guy from Egypt(?) who's name they couldn't pronounce. He talked about how he loved american women and just wanted to find one that he could love from her hair........(and then he thought a long time).....................all the way to her nipples.

He was pointing to his feet when he said "Nipples" and Mike said, "Where the hell are her nipples??"

This is when it is fun, I don't like it when they start to take themselves eriously.
What about the guy that works as a guide in Philly! He said his co-workers encouraged him to try out, he sang something about Moses. He was almost unintelligible. I thought the judges were going to pee their pants when he asked if he coudl sing something else.

I thought all three judges were really rude on idol last night. It's not nice to laugh at people I don't care how famous you are. I totally think the blonde that sang Amazing Grace is going to be the next American Idol. I also watch Bruno vs Carrie Ann Dance War it's a new TV show and I thought they were both very respectful. They give constructive critisim.
