Home Depot new location

Assembled in just one hour with an Allen key and a small pot of glue, Home Despot has opened its new store of ill stocked shelves.

Driving North into Cancun turn left onto Ave Lib. Kabah at the lights by the old air traffic control tower.

You'll pass the Leonardo da Vinci College on your left, then Mega on your right, coming up on your left (just before Chedraui on your right) is the turning for Avenida Andres Quintana Roo.

The whole corner of this large block holds Office Despot and Soriana in front of you, and Paseo Cancun and City Club if you look left.

I haven't been to the new store yet to give you the exact entrance point, but this'll get you to the door.

Paseo Cancun is a good place for clothes shopping and to wolf down a burger at Hooters.

Could you give me a little better description of what you're talking about? I don't get it. I work for Homer De Pot, and am curious to know if there are deficiences.

For example, the old store had a whole aisle of plastic trays of loose screws, bolts etc. Many of them were empty and others in a mess.

If you found the store to be less than acceptable, ask to speak to the store manager. I understand that standards in Mexico are not always the same as they are here in the states. But, every comment, regardless of origin, should be respected.

hehe
we're not in Kansas anymore Toto
I've been there (old store) a lot and it's just not the same...
...although it's nice to have aisles to walk down instead of a counter to approach

Or Mexico City.

Often in this area the problems start with the manager, not get solved by him. With high rents and low wages it's hard to attract good workers to Quintana Roo.

My husband works for HD, too. I kept telling him that when he retires, he could just transfer to one in Mexico. Guess that's not such a good idea! Sorry to hear that the standards are sub-par.

I've been to the new store, it does not share the same problems as its predecessor.

Right now anyway, it is a well-stocked beautiful thing...especially the bolt and screw section!

It's a good start then.

Let's see how they re-stock...
