The beaches aren't ALL gone in PDC, very erroded in certain parts of Playacar, no worries Since you will have a car for a week, suggest you drive south to Xpu-Ha, Akumal, Tulum...some lovely beaches

Hi Pobemer (is there any meaning behind that name?), welcome from me as well... I've been offline the past days so pls. excuse me if I am late in welcoming you (and now I go to discuss with Teezet whether he is nearer to you or I am... ).

As far as the sites to visit are concerned: either have a look at the trip planning tab or look at the general forum. You could take a tour with Yukatrek too which will take you to Tulum or Coba or other places (look up the schedule). It will be a great experience. It is hard to give you any advices without knowing what you would like to do: visit mayan ruins (then go to Tulum, Coba, Chichen Itza, Ek Balam or Uxmal). If you like beach or snorkelling look for Tulum, Xpu Ha, Akumal, Xel Ha or Xcaret. If you like something else let us know and someone will come up with something...

Hello and welcome! We spent 5 days in Brussels and one day in Brughes. What beautiful cities. The beer and chocolates weren't too bad either

Welcome to this wonderfull forum Pobemer. Bienvenue sur ce superbe forum Pobemer, oui, il y a aussi des francophones sur ce forum . Comme tu le vois, moi je suis Bruxellois et très heureux de l'etre ; Ce que j'apprécie beaucoup à Playa et ds les environs c'est le mix de population tout-à-fait intéressant et différent du mix que je retrouve et apprécie à Bruxelles
