Making peace...
..or taking the piss?!
After being one of the main drivers of the US's Iraq debacle and having to leave the World Bank in shame due to having authorised a large package for his girlfriend (he obviously couldn't fulfil her needs by himself, so he had to get it from somewhere else) Wolfowitz is now to head an influential arms control panel. Am I dreaming, or did I really read this on the BBc News website?! ![]() |

Sounds like a rather nice chap
Paul Wolfowitz: As the Pentagon's number two after Donald Rumsfeld, he was one of the leading architects of the war in Iraq. Mr Wolfowitz's insider status at the White House made him many enemies at home and abroad. His return to government comes at a time when many key figures of the Bush administration are leaving. |
