After 4 years of playa and wanting to make it 5, we just coundn't swing it. We found a great deal to Cabo San Lucus (AI) for less than just the flights to Cancun. I sure am gonna miss the white sands, The people, the water and of course the food. Well, Maybe next year. Have fun in the sun everyone.

Hey, don't worry about it...We're not going to make it this year either...I'm sure you'll have a great time in CSL though! I do want to go there at some point!

Well, we are back from Cabo San Lucas. Although very beautiful, imho, does not compare to playa. Will be back to Playa next year.

Thanks for confirming this- we are planning a trip in Sept/Oct for our 10th Wedding Anniversary, and were thinking about Cabo instead of Playa..to try something different.
All I needed was for someone to tell me that Cabo doesn't compare to Playa.
You just made my decision for me!
