Crap For Weather

We have been having freezing rain for the last 4 hours. There is about 1/2 inch of ice on everything. They just closed the main highway between here and Oregon. Our daughter does the music for the local hockey team and she called and said it took her 45 minutes to go the 4 miles to work. Many many wrecks on the roads around here and tv is saying do not drive unless it is an emergency. Glad we are staying home tonite. Later this is going to turn to snow on top of the ice.

In Minneapolis today it finally went above zero....it was like spring around here! Everyone washing cars....t-shirts on. What fun! Look what fun 10 degrees is!

Sleeted and froezen rain all night and the last two hours it has snowed on top of everything. Main freeway between us and Oregon still closed and has been for the last 14 hours. Supposed to snow all day. Looks like a great day to stay home. I do have to take Mrs D to airport as she is off to Las Vegs on work. Should be a exciting trip. Wish me luck!

We too are having a heat wave! It is sunny and will be 36 today. Whoopee! It is going to be in the pper 40's tomorrow and rain and then the next day it is going to be 20! We have more snow right than we usually get all winter. I am sick of having to use the snowblower every other day!

But, the sun really feels good today!

This means that we will continue to get lousy weather. We're getting snow mixed with rain. Roads will be very slick tonight and in the morning. Fun drive to work tomorrow.
