Stayed at the airport Hilton about a month ago. It was very nice and they have a shuttle to the airport. I did it through priceline for $50, but I'm sure you don't have time to do that.

Here is a list of hotels that have airport shuttles.

Depending on how long your layover is, Kathleen might like to stay near the Mall of America.

Last year the comfort Inn Bloomington was the least expensive of the bunch. Shuttles run every half hour.

*edit* OMG SINGLE DIGITS!!!!!!!!!

The Country Inn & Suites is directly across the street from the Mall of America and offers shuttles to the airport. Some friends of ours just stayed there and it was very nice.

I stayed here once when we were playing a Xmas party. Close to the airport with a shuttle.

Minneapolis Airport Marriott: A superb hotel offering great rates located near the airport and MOA

Priceline came through. Le Bourget Hotel & Suites . $75 . Not too shabby.

We've stayed there a few times when it had different names, and it was fine. It looks great with it's makeover. When I go to the cities, I always use Priceline or Hotwire.

I'd suggest my house, but we don't have a regular shuttle to the airport I might have tried to get into the Radisson with the waterpark - it's super FUN!! even for adults.
