Riu Tequila AI wrist band colour and policy ?

have not been to the Riu Tequila for awhile and had a couple ?s:
Does the Riu Tequila still give out solely the coral colour AI wrist bands.
I was able to wear mine home last time, and now my daughter (it will be her first time at the Riu Tequila) wants to also wear hers home to be able to show her girl friends.
I know I wore mine home last visit, but I can't remember if you are told to cut it off at check out time?
Any info. would be really appreciated.

We were all staying at the Yucatan across the street, basically all one big resort, all 24 of our group got to wear our bracelts home. We have never had one cut off yet. Even at other resorts.

I was there in January. They are a cream color this year and they let us leave with the wrist bands still on our wrists!
