Hi from Nova Scotia

I have been lurking for the past few days, and thought I'd better introduce myself. I was a Playa Virgin

until Jan 5 this year. Took a last minute trip to PDC and have fallen in love with the place. I met a couple of board members when I was there (hi guy!!

), spent an evening at Bad Boys and hope to meet up with all of you at some point. Looking at another trip in March

, but if that falls thru, I'll be back next Jan. and will do all the things that I missed this trip.

Hello, you´re not the first to fall in love with playa, I first came here in 2000 and i´m here now for my 4th trip down, staying a month.. just enjoying and relaxing away form the snow and cold... Playa has a lot to offer. I´m sure you wil be back often.. One thing I love is the great beach..I like to walk and tan at the same time.. and the´re are miles of it.. the carrivbean sea is just amazing.. until you´re next trip there is always lurking.. haha.. second best as to being here.. no doubt next time you get to do a lot more sight seeing..
one a the best place i seen and enjoyed is Xel-Ha..

I just want to party with you all!! Did no partying in Jan

. Just laid in the sun. Saw nothing, and ate only at the AI which was boring after the first day.

Welcome to the forum bluberry! I don't post much but I am here almost everyday (it's hard to break lurker habits)

and it is a great site! I am from Nova Scotia as well but live in Winnipeg. What part are you from?

I was born in Halifax, my sister lives there now. My mom lives down the South Shore in Barrington. I spent a lot of time in Truro during the 80's as I went to Teacher's College there.
P.S. The weather is sunny -20C windchill -31C

. I hate winter!!!

Welcome fellow Bluenoser. I was born in Yarmouth but lived in Truro! Transplanted to Toronto now (boooo). We got about 10 cm of snow last night with about 10 - 20 more on the way . I will be in Playa in 2, count'em 2 weeks!

Oh, I am so jealous!! I am hoping for another trip in March, but think my travel partner wants to go to Dom Rep.

I only want to come back to Playa, so maybe a solo trip, or wait until next year and stay a few weeks.
