Hello all!
I've been reading over this forum during the past couple of days, and WOW! You guys are a wealth of information, and seem like a lot of fun, too!

My husband and I will be taking our first trip down to the Riviera in May 2008...we absolutely can't wait! Aren't positive where we're staying yet, but looks like it'll be either Barcelo Beach/Caribe or Colonial/Tropical.
I look forward to getting to know more about the Yucatan, and getting to know you all!

When exactly are you going?
We are going May 27th, staying 8 glorious nights and leaving June 4th.

Doggiemom, I live in the Medical Center area inside the loop. I'm a 4th year med student, graduating May 20th with my MD and starting my residency in Pediatrics in July. Our trip to Mexico is my graduation gift from hubby.

When in May are you going?

We started doing the 2 week plus thing a few years ago. We only go once a year so once my wife is able to pry me away from the office we try to make the most of it. We have already done most of the tours so besides a few rounds of golf and maybe some snorkeling it will be all about relaxing. Hope you guys have a blast too.

Trish, Texan too? Excellent! I see you're in Round Rock...I went to college at Baylor in Waco and worked at Scott and White Hospital's EMS in Temple. Not too far away!
