Best rooms at Sandos Playacar?

Hi all - any advice and/or pics for which would be the best room(s) to request at the Sandos Playacar? Thanks!

I'd love to know this too!

If the beach is gone and we get offered an upgrade to a hacienda suite (we joined that sandos4u thing) we may take it - we wouldnt want to be that far away from the beach if it is okay but if not then I'm thinking the private pool things might be a bonus. I was wondering how many people/haciendas share a private pool? Are there sunbeds around it? If so are there enough for everyone?

DNK if you've has seen this - somewhat dated but it gives an overall view of the property. Several links beneath the image show different areas. I am getting pumped!

Do you know of a resort map floating about out there? The only one I could find was thumbnail size.

It's not much use room request wise though because unlike the Tucan/Allegro where you could see like for example block 12 was near the beach. There are just two large buildings that are sort of a U shape either side of the pool and it doesn give you any indication of room numbers.

Will just have a look at that thing you've posted now..

Sandos resort map: As you said, no room #'s in the 2 large U shaped buildings, but the Haciendas are all numbered. The only fault I find with this map is the amount of yellow (beach) in front - it should be shaved down somewhat, don't you think?

Looking at those beach pics just depresses me

What's worse it the pics we took on the beach on hol...I just can't believe how quick things changed!
