Executive Car rental on 307?

Before I begin - I used the search function (with different combos) and couldn't find an answer there...so

We are renting a car from Executive and rather than rent in Playa proper or at the airport, there is supposed to be a rental location at a gas station on the inland side of 307 north of Constityentes. Does anyone know where - as in opposite which street? Or is it one of the Pemex stations marked on the mapchick maps?

I don't know about that one. I've rented from the one right by the PDC airport between 15th and 10th.

Hi Barb,

The Executive lot that I am familiar with is on the east (coast) side of 307 between Juarez and Constityentes. In doing research for our upcoming trip we found that Cancun Rent a Car | Cancun Airport Rent A Car | Rent a Car In Cancun had much better rates (beat Executive by close to 30%).

thanks for the tip - I think the prices are comparable - I was quoted slightly less for Executive, but the Cancun rentals site is much clearer in terms of explaining what is covered. And their cars look nicer - but thosesare just pictures and may not translate to real life.

We are picking up the car at the airport, that may be the difference. For a compact with A/C and automatic a five day rental from CRAC runs $225. With the same insurance Executive quoted $330.

thanks all that gives a much better idea of where I should be looking for this rental lot - I think I should have just rented from the airport (and may still do). The lot was much easier to find there. jeffandbecky - the car I was quoted was a Tsuru - which I think might be a size up from the compact??? Unfortunately we have two many kids joining us for a small car - but who really knows..based on our last trip to PDC, car rentalss tend to be a bit of a crap shoot in any case.

Oh one other thing, Mindbender - is that a Pemex station?
