Timeshare Sales Income Ranges

Hello all I'm new to this site. Thank you to the person or persons that created, and keep it up its great! To my question, Does any body know what type of income a person that sells timeshares can earn? I have been in sale all of my life and would love to make the move to Playa. Thank you in advance for all of your help!

Send a message via Skype™ to denisea
Paul just posted the other day and I believe he is still living Playa... though not selling timeshares anymore. You might want to send him a PM (private message). His username is Paul250268.

Time share sales reps make no salary in Playa, only commissions, so what you bring in is entirely based on how well you sell. Many people try their hand at it, and leave a couple of months later having made no money at all. Some people make thousands of dollars each month. Or at least some months. It's also a very much a questions of season. One thing you can be sure of, is that many people will make it sound easier than it is to make a lot of money in that business.

Thank You

Thank you for your reply. Being a time share owner I do understand that it is a type of sales that is not for the faint of heart. I've been in sales al of my life and understand commision sales. But I like most people have a hard time taking every thing that the company said as the truth. I'm just looking in to all of my options. Thank you again for your reply.

O.K., O.K.,
Well, it depends how good you are.
Anywhere from $0 to $50,000 a month.
I would guess the average pay for an above average saleperson to be around $8000 per month.

Thanks

Thank you for the reply. It's sounds like good income even if not the best job to have. I feal like I did when people would ask me what I did for a living, and I would put my hand over my mouth and mumble sell used cars. LOL
Did you enjoy the work while you were doing it?

Average? I think that's way higher than you can expect to make, unless you're really good at it. I've known a LOT of people do time share during my 10 years in Playa, and none of them made that kind of money. But perhaps they weren't that into it...

I see you have the "cryptic" trait that every good snake-oil salesperson has.
