Calling all Mid June peeps

Yep, we're a little early but what better time than to get those peeps who are looking forward to escaping from their dreary lives into a magical place when dreams become reality...right at the beginning of summer vacation.

We will be in town June 15-22nd with our best friends. Daddio and I are planning on staying at Hacienda San Jose...yep, Heather, still got to get the thing signed for y'all. We are also planning on going back to Ek Balam with Mitch. If you have never seen or heard of Ek Balam, you need to see my trip report and pictures from 2005. It was fantastic. I can't wait to go back! We will go to Ek Balam and Valladolid on June 18th.

With all of that being said, I'd like to plan a peep meet one of the nights we are there (except for June 18th). If you'll be in town June 15-22, 2008, please weigh in on where you'd like to meet. Also, if you are interested in going to Ek Balam let us know. It's always fun to take trips and meet other peeps (oldies and newbies).

In Akumal 6/6-6/10, then Playa 6/11-6/16. So if anything happening on 6/15 we'd be game.

We should be arriving early that day. I don't think it's unreasonable to plan a meet for that day, considering the last time I planned one was our first full day in Playa and we managed to throw a trip to the ER in Cancun in before the Peep Meet! I need to book my airfare but I'm looking at arriving in Cancun about 11am-ish and a dinner peep meet would be great fun. A good way to kick off the vacation!

I just wanted to pop in on you thread and say hi and how nice it is to see you posting again

you were missed. Tell Daddo I said hi.
And for all others considering meeting up, don't think twice just do it. You won't regret it. It really is a blast to meet new and visit with ol' friends. Besides, you'll get to meet Christy who is one awsome woman

Like Monte said, if you have never met Christy, she is an awesome woman and loads of fun!!!!

We are going back with some friends and she's a school teacher, They also need to wait until school's out so their kids can go stay with grandparents while we're living it up in Playa. Sorry!

We wait until June so our kids can stay with the GP's too. If you aren't too busy packing up on the last day. We get in around 1:00 pm. (we don't leave too early in the morning, so we should not be too tired). We'll keep checking this thread.

Thanks,Susie! Yep, it's me 120 pound lighter than the last time you saw me! Will we get to see you when we come to town? No firm plans on a peep meet yet. I'll keep you posted. I know you can't always plan to come to town for them all the time, but it would be nice to see you again!
