Hello to all,
I know now we are getting close to selecting our hotel..Leaving Toronto in April and looking for some advice as we have not been to Mexico before..We would love to get a great price, but then on the other hand want a nice place with a few things --nice beach and carribbean water colours...We are taking kids ages 9-14 so maybe something we all enjoy is the beach and pools..So far we have found the following, could you provide some feedback to these(I know sunset is nice but only considering if can't find another place at a great price) Sunscape adventuros resort,,select club sandos, Grand coco bay and Viva Wyndham also Grand sunset..if you dont mind helping..Would you but out the difference of 200 dollars to stay at sunset over and beyond the others????thanks ahead |

Yes, in my opinion, it's worth $200 to stay at the Grand Princess over the others, even given the rash of mixed reviews. Some of the others you mention might be OK, some are not very OK, but they're more "budget" properties. The Sunscape isn't really considered a budget resort, but I personally don't much care for it (I have stayed there). The beach is tiny and not very good, the pool is miniscule and shallow. If I had to choose from the list you have, I'd go with the Princess, and if not that, then the Grand Coco.
