Sun Protection - SunGuard Laundry Aid

I just learned about a product called SunGuard Laundry Aid that has the Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Recommendation. The product washes in UPF protection into clothing. I've ordered a couple of boxes so I can treat our clothing before our trip.

Has anyone here used the product before? Did you find that it was effective in helping to prevent sunburn? I am also wondering if it is safe for the environment??

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Wow.

I've never had sunburn on covered up areas.

Marketing, eh?

Still, if it works it beats having skin cancer. How many of you smoke and wear sunscreen though I wonder?

Slip, slap, slop.

I have had skin cancer so I try to limit my exposure to harmful rays from the sun. I don't want to have to live the lifestyle of a vampire and only come out to play when the sun goes down. I still want to spend time in the sand, sun, and water.

SPF 30 or better....repeat application a couple of times throughout the day...add a baseball cap.....and I snorkel (and spend most every day) with a t-shirt on....legs are not a problem unless you actually are trying to get a sunburn by laying out..spend a lot of time in palapa bars......works like a champ...I am as white as I was when I got here a week ago...oh yeah...and I am growing my beard out......
